AST-02D31W10-CS18-I(C))45 is a hermetically sealed device with a photo diode for optical output monitoring.It incorporates 1310nm single mode edge-emitting laser diode chips for using in uncooled applications up to 2.7Gb/sec.The laser is mounted into a TO-56 header and is hermetically sealed with a 1.5mm ball lens cap.The laser design is buried heteo-structure with muti-quantum well(MQW) active layers and distributed-feedback(DFB) grating layer.
